By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

A. Order and Contact Information When you purchase Hardware from our website, we collect information necessary to fulfill your order, including:

  • Name, shipping address, and email address.

  • Transactional information (payment processing is handled by our third-party provider, Shopify; we do not store your credit card details).

B. Hardware and Technical Data To provide monitoring services, the Hardware and App collect:

  • Device Identifiers: MAC address, serial number, and firmware version.

  • Network Information: Local Wi-Fi network names (SSID) used during the setup process to connect the Hardware.

  • Solar Metrics: Energy generation data, performance metrics, and system status from your solar equipment.

C. App Usage Data The App collects non-identifiable usage metrics, such as feature usage, session statistics, and app version, to help us improve performance.

2. How We Use the Data

We use the collected information solely to:

  • Fulfill Orders: Ship hardware and provide customer support.

  • Provide Services: Transmit solar metrics from your Hardware to the App.

  • Maintenance: Deliver firmware updates to the Hardware for security and functionality.

  • Improvement: Analyze aggregated, non-personal data to identify technical issues and improve user experience.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or solar data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services to help operate our business:

  • Shopify: To manage our e-commerce store and process orders.

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP): To securely store and process the solar metrics transmitted by your Hardware.

  • Google Firebase: To collect non-personal, aggregated app analytics. Each of these providers maintains its own privacy and security policies.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption for data in transit between your Hardware, the App, and our cloud servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Your Choices

  • Order Info: You may request that we delete your order history from our records by contacting us, though some information must be retained for legal and tax purposes.

  • App Data: You may stop all collection of information by the App by uninstalling it.

  • Hardware Data: You may stop the collection of solar metrics by powering down or disconnecting the Hardware.

6. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be posted on our website and within the App. Your continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
